Privacy Policy

We respect the right to privacy of all people. We will not share your email or contact information with anyone. We do not receive your entire credit card number when you make a reservation. In case of stated emergency we will acknowledge that you might be a guest. Please make sure we have any mobile phone numbers while you are here so that we can be in touch with you if need be.

Check-In and Out

We ask that guests plan to arrive between 4 PM and 7 PM. If you have a real need for an early check-in, please let us know. Otherwise if you arrive in St. Louis early, please check our website for local points of interests, restaurants, and other features of life in our city and our neighborhood. Guests should plan on checking out by 11 AM so that your suite may be made available for new visitors.

Late Arrival

We know that sometimes things are such that either we can’t plan an exact arrival time or unforeseen circumstances force a change in plans. All we ask is that you let us know as soon as possible so that we can be here to greet you when you arrive.

Late Departure

If your plans are such that you need to leave later that 11 AM, we’re happy to store your belongings until your departure time. We do ask that all suites be vacated so that our housekeepers may make them ready for the next guests.

Deposit

We ask for one half of the total room fee as deposit to hold your reservation. This can be done through our online reservation system or by phone using Visa, MasterCard or Discover.

Refunds/Cancellations

We understand things come up and plans change. We are currently offering full refunds as long as reservations are canceled with one week’s notice. Please let us know as soon as you can if your plans have change.

Number of Guests

Rooms are intended to be for two guests. We will try to accommodate any special requests. The Minor and McNair suite can be joined through a common bathroom if desired.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Please respond to the email you receive one week prior to your visit about any dietary issues or preferences around breakfast. Of course, we will try to accommodate you at any hour. Just ask.

ADA Compliance

The Benton Park Inn is in a home built in the 1890s with ceilings over ten feet tall. There are simply no easy ways for us to become ADA compliant, although we will consider becoming so in any major renovations in the future. We regret the inconvenience.

Smoking

Benton Park Inn is a non-smoking facility. However, if you do have the need to have a cigarette, feel free to use our back yard or the park across the street. Please help keep our neighborhood clean by using the appropriate receptacles.

Children

We love children. But, we do have guests who come for a time of peace and solitude. If you would like to bring your children, please contact us before making a reservation to make sure we can welcome all of you into our home.

Dogs/Pets

Pets are like members of our families and often travel with us. Benton Park and the Benton Park Inn are very dog friendly. We have two of them. But that means other pets can be a problem if they don’t play well with others. Please be in touch with us concerning bringing your pet.
